Schiefferstadt

We were asked to do some repair to some areas of this historic house.
Part of the project involved plaster repair at some windows and we replaced several ceilings.
The ceilings we replaced were done with metal lath over metal furring channels as per the architect's specifications.
The original ceiling was plaster over hand-split wood lath, but these had been removed years earlier because of some changes by past owners.
The windows in Schiefferstadt were angled so as to allow maximum light to come in.  Also they were curved at the top.  This was both practical, and a very attractive look.
We look forward to future work on this beautiful historic house.
